I’ve heard lots of good things about this little shop in Garran called Mamak Corner. It looks like your typical Chinese/Malaysian suburban take away shop and restaurant with formica-like tables and chairs, plain cheapie white napkins and a bit of clutter behind the counter. Caffe Cherry Beans is located in Westfield Woden near JB Hifi. It can easily be missed since it’s not anywhere near the food court or other dining places. For a work colleague’s birthday morning tea, I suggested we try a cake from Croissant D’or in Woden which has recently opened up.
