The former Sweet Tooth Society has rebranded into Poked Cakes focusing on selling their tres leches cake. What is it? Itโs basically a sponge cake soaked in three types of milk – condensed, evaporated and cream.
I was kindly given a sample of the classic tres leches in a โto shareโ size. The torched meringue on top is gorgeous. The cake is so light and fluffy, and so very moreish! I inhaled it. Apart from the classic, you can also choose from other flavours – dulce de leche, chocolate and strawberry.
Prices for the 3 sizes are:
- Individual: $15 (classic) / $18 (chocolate, strawberry or Dulce de Leche)
- To share: $30 (classic) / $35 (chocolate, strawberry or Dulce de Leche)
- Family: $55 (classic) / $60 (chocolate, strawberry or Dulce de Leche)
