4th Seed is a great new-ish cafe in the Queanbeyan CBD serving breakfast and lunch. I’d read a review that the French Toast was pretty good but was only available on weekends. So on a free Saturday morning, I headed over. They have a display cabinet of yummy treats like macarons, tarts, muffins, cakes and more.
The food menu is written up on the blackboard on the wall. Happy to see that French Toast was on the menu!
I like the simple, laid-back style decor. Fresh flowers on the table were also a nice touch.
The French Toast ($14) did not disappoint. Two thick slabs of raisin toast with caramelised poached pear in between. Topped with 3 huge strawberries, all drizzled with maple syrup with a serve of yogurt on the side. I really enjoyed this.

If you’re ever in Queanbeyan, drop by 4th Seed for a nice brunch, coffee and cake. Service is friendly too.
